not sure which is worse
between a zombie epidemic or an alien invasion
can't stand not knowing which of these
hypothetical apocalypses
will end all human life on earth

the survivability of a nuclear winter
sometimes I get overwhelmed
thinkin' about biowarfare and a global economic meltdown
sometimes I like to track a new disease
that's gonna wipe out all our continental trees
cuz I gotta see

the case for the antichrist is startin' to look good
we could get killed by a solar storm
or a bubblin' of gases from the deep see floor
killed by our own sentient malevolent machines
or the rise of intelligent chimpanzees
lately there's one thing that's stuck in my head
the single most likely way we all end up dead

manmade emissions and the resulting rise in temperatures
sometimes I get overwhelmed
thinkin' about mass extinctions and rising sea levels
a giant rock comin' from space would be irretractable
but we can stop makin' our own planet uninhabitable
